Maynard Lake Lodge
Lodge

Laura & Dale, Josh, Courtney and Cody would like to personally invite you to join them at Maynard Lake. July and August are most popular for family vacationing at Maynard Lake Lodge because the weather and water temperatures are the most suitable. It's a wonderful place for children and their parents to experience nature in all it's splendor. Even young children can catch lots of fish to keep their interest high. Along with the fabulous fishing, the lake offers an abundance of wildlife to observe and many beautiful sand beaches for swimming and exploring.

Dining at Maynard Lake

Cabins
Ontario fishing

To occupy the non-fishing hours at the lodge we have a canoe, paddle boat, a kayak, a fully equipped golf driving range, cedar log sauna and all our game room activities.
We enjoy having families at Maynard Lake Lodge and offer 35% off special for children 16 and under. Your time at Maynard Lake will be a truly memorable family experience (even if the kids do catch the biggest fish.)

What We Furnish
Guests of Maynard Lake Lodge stay from three to seven days on our American Plan package. This includes return air-fare from Kenora to Maynard Lake, your fishing licence, all meals, a daily gourmet shorelunch, boat, motor, all fuel, comfortable cabin and full maid and dock service. Cabins are fully equipped with linens, blankets, wood stoves and electricity.

Other suggestions are snacks, cigarettes, camera, film, batteries, fish locator, toiletries and medication, insect repellent, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and a flashlight.

What to Bring
Keeping warm and dry is essential to your personal comfort. For May, June and September fishing, we suggest you bring sufficient warm clothing for potential dramatic temperature shifts. Layering clothing is best for staying warm. July and August are much more stable (70 to 80 degrees F.) and will probably only require a light jacket for the evening. All season long, good quality rain gear will make the difference between a wet day on the lake to a great fishing day on the lake and waterproof boots will be an asset on rainy days if you plan to hike to Bass Lake. A pair of neoprene or wool fishing gloves for the cool season is also a good idea.
